@DrKinKam @CarlZha @Grand_Ole_Evan Obviously they just weren't prepared for the level of force Japan could bring. Fair play to Japan

Didn't stop the British surrendering en-mass to a tiny Fascist Japanese force.
It is also strange that most British people now support Japan Imperialism over the Chinese as demonstrated recently.
Why?
Here's my answer.
1) because Japan is now part of the West.
2) it explains why West gone really right wing to the stage where they literally support genocide in Gaza and mass deliberate bombing of civilians, including schools and hospitals in Iran, Lebanon and Palestine.
3) Historical and general humanity teaching are extremely western centric (particularly Anglo centric) and therefore extremely brainwashed and bias. These have worked when West leads in science and technology. But West as led by US are going backward in many areas, with many supporting fossil energies, and even mass terrorism (like in Germany in Nordstream pipeline destruction, or grooming ISIS as demonstrated with western VIP inviting ex-head choppers to their places). No wonder, far fewer Chinese students want to come to the West to study. There is very little to learn from except seeing how racism and subsevience can really damage places.
4) the poor historical teaching means many mistakenly thought the West alone won WW2, ignoring more than 20m dead Russians who mostly liberated Europe from Nazism, or about 30m dead Chinese who died and fought against Imperial Japan since 1933 (some could say 1931). They never taught these Chinese suffering despite China was very poor at the time, plus the Chinese, despite its enormous losses, and length of time of the war, NEVER surrender. Without the Chinese, many hundred of thousand of western forces would be dead or severely injured also.

@CarlZha @Grand_Ole_Evan Leading up to WW2, Singapore had the world's most advanced port and naval facilities in the world..

@vrilliumlive Korea, China and Japan were flattened by WW2 - compare them now with India. The issue is with culture and not some stolen wealth

The queen of England stealing $45 Trillion from King India, 1708 AD.
She would later go on to use that stolen money to buy a nice country from the country store.
That’s why England is nice and India isn’t.

This was when a British man could fly to Hong Kong and just live there with zero legal barriers to jump through. Bros could just learn firebending or obscure Kung fu styles from racist masters with grandfathers that teleported to escape from Japanese soldiers in WW2. Fuck you could even learn to summon spirits and shit. Shit was just diff back then. You don’t know what we lost over these decades. Back then Rhodesia was still on its last legs. I miss Ian Smith.

@seanaldo1 There's plenty here. But it's not socially acceptable at all. If you are caught with anything you are going to prison - and the prisons here are some of the worst in the world
