Sigh, i just might be bitter bc its been such a long wait for this season and i was so excited

It is indeed giving iykyk. Which is unfortunately the case with many ensemble shows. I will say, though, I don't think it's nearly as bad as some reviews made it out to be. At least the episodes are all really meaty!

Since the embargo's up, I guess it's safe to say I've seen the first five episodes of #Rivals and boy, oh boy, is no one prepared for the absolute gauntlet you're about to go through. It's a delicious, raunchy, raucous romp, but it also made me cry far more than I anticipated.

@teroandperdita My thing is that ruperts gonna have all this great screen time to develop as a character and they've pushed taggie to the background when shes also supposed to develop. How are we gonna see her truly coming into her own as a person when her screen time is so limited?

We didn't get this in the books And we won't get it in the show either I need a cigarette just so I can stand dramatically in the rain and light up. Even poor Tag doesn't get any real development or any actual fun. They really are trying to mould her into some kind of holy virgin

@TTWEndsx3 so i’m just supposed to accept that rupert loves taggie but has the best sex of his life with another woman and that it's just how their dynamic is. Ijbol this is probably the most disappointing execution of a promising relationship i have seen in a long time.

@teroandperdita @roywexler but it seemed like they were doing something different with taggie's character. Making her more independent and stick up for herself. Her character really could have had a juicy well thought out storyline in S2 that is separate from rupert. Everything ive read seems opposite

@roywexler So annoying. Look i know it's an ensemble cast and thats great. But why sideline one of your most popular characters, whose storyline you set up so nicely in s1. Just to introduce a bunch of brand new characters that weren't even a part of the books. Really disappointing

they wanna give 'sarah stratton and monica baddingham🤡' meaningful Arcs in season two that aren’t in the books but wanna push the female lead to the back in p1 because the love interest won’t get his shit together until part 2. sometimes you gotta laugh to keep from crying

@planet_aira @TTWEndsx3 i read taggie only has a few scenes in the first 3 eps and doesnt play a bigger role till the second part of the season which is in november/december. Can't beileve we waited 2 years just for her to be pushed aside for new characters😡
