Just got done listening to Syed Babar Ali's interview with @ghazi_taimoor. Loved how phenomenally the 98-years young Azadar expressed his love for Imam Hussain

Before Ramadan, took the opportunity of good weather to explore Androon Lahore. Highly recommend taking a tour of the city, full of treasures that personally I had no idea about! Appreciate the #LahorekaRavi team for finding out hidden gems!

Mahmoud Khalil isn’t an illegal alien.
He isn’t a terrorist.
He’s a Columbia graduate student and a legal U.S. resident. He's a husband. And his wife, a US Citizen—8 months pregnant—has no idea where he is.
The Department of Homeland Security snatched him off campus, disappeared him without a trace. No charges. No trial. Just gone.
This is how authoritarian regimes operate.
It's what happens when the First Amendment only applies to the “right” kind of people—it's only a trial balloon for a broader crackdown on speech.
If they can do it to Khalil, they can do it to you.
First, they come for the speech of legal immigrants.
If we don't speak up, do you know what comes next?

1/13 Who exactly were these '100,000 Indians'. Where did they come from? Here's a thread on Indian Expeditionary Force A: the only foreign force from the subcontinent that fought in France in WW1:
Emmanuel Macron@EmmanuelMacron
More than 100,000 Indians fought for France in 1914. Ten thousand never returned. They set foot on the soil of Marseille before fighting in the mud of the trenches, unaware that they were marching to their deaths. Their sacrifice binds France and India forever.
