@ThePrydonian I've now had a chance to compare the Blu-ray to the DVD and I agree with you, the Blu-ray picture quality is very poor, and the DVDs are better. I still don't think it's AI, it's just bad restoration with the noise reduction turned up way too high. Big shame.

I can live with different special editions and other cuts, that's all perfectly fine but I think when it comes to the original versions they shouldn't be tampered with like this, especially given these are essentially meant to be a home media archive of the best quality possible.

Being honest I've really disliked the upscaling in the recent Doctor Who Collection sets.
This AI process just makes every character look like smoothed out wax and buries noise detail that gives everything an uncanny appearance.
Its like 00s digital grading, it'll age badly.

Enjoying the Doctor Who Season 25 blu-ray collection a lot, but I'm really surprised at the poor picture quality. It is SO soft & lacking detail. Did a quick comparison against the DVD releases, and they are easily better quality, picture-wise at least. Who fans, hold onto those!

Thanks for the outpouring of love for WORLD OF WARCRAFT: HEARTLANDS. I promise I will get to everybody as soon as I can, but after 36+ hours of travel I need to sleep for 2 days. But it means a lot that so many people have dug the story. WOW IS LIFE!
