For everyone celebrating Khalaili's deal falling through, you all deserve Dodo

#Inter still has confidence for the transfer of Anan Khalaili. The wingback will take other tests tomorrow morning, but #Inter feel that they can close the signing after the supplement medical tests requested by CONI. Positive feelings also go through the player’s entourage. Andrea Cambiaso, Brooke Norton-Cuffy and Guela Doué are names, but #Inter are not working on any alternatives precisely out of goodness and this shared optimism. [via @sportmediaset]

Gianni Infantino has said FIFA will examine expanding the World Cup by a further 16 nations to a 64-team tournament ahead of its next edition in 2030. The 2030 tournament will be spread across six nations and three continents: Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay are scheduled to host one match apiece at the start of the competition, with the remaining games split between Morocco, Portugal and Spain. 🚨 Inter are in a waiting period regarding Anan Khalaili. The issues that emerged during his medical examinations have slowed down the deal with Union Saint-Gilloise—a transfer worth around €25 million plus bonuses—which is now on hold pending further medical evaluations. If the move ultimately falls through, the Nerazzurri will be forced back into the market to find a new right wing-back after the departure of Denzel Dumfries. Nahuel Molina emerges as an option According to Sport Mediaset, among the many names being considered by Inter’s management is Nahuel Molina, a player who could offer an immediate, experienced solution. The Atlético Madrid wing-back already knows Italian football well from his time at Udinese, where his impressive performances earned him a move to Spain. Unlike some of Inter’s younger targets, Molina would bring reliability, international experience, and the ability to contribute effectively in both attack and defense. One factor that could help negotiations is his contract situation. Molina’s current deal runs until 2027, and Inter could look to take advantage of the market circumstances to reach an agreement with Atlético Madrid. Inter are also continuing to monitor Guéla Doué of Strasbourg, a younger and more physical profile, while Dodô of Fiorentina remains another alternative. However, if Khalaili’s transfer is ultimately abandoned, Molina could become one of the most realistic options—a player ready to step straight into Dumfries’ role and provide balance on Cristian Chivu’s right flank. 💻 @FcInterNewsit
