He played germany 3 straight world cups the 2nd best football nation ever (06, 10 & 14) then played france in 2018 & 2022 which is the most talented team of this era. He was set up to play portugal 2x and brazil 2x at the wc but they choked. Spain was not good for 3 straight WCs

@ArchysLife The last part is a bit interesting because although the gold cup is way older and more prestigious to win than nations league for some reason the best american players keep skipping it for nations league but i think that will change after this slighty underwhelming World Cup run

@ghostnjon Fair enough on UCL and the UEFA Super Cup but the Club World Cup was a mickey mouse trophy until 2025 and the CONCACAF Nations League isn't even the premier CONCACAF competition

I kind of get overrating your nation's best player (we do it with Arda too) but Pulisic is 27 years old and has done nothing special for either club or country. At one point the hype has to cool down, no?
