A contradiction: Many developers (incl ones I know) are claiming 10-100x productivity gains via LLM. Almost none of them are quitting their jobs to prove it in the free market. If AI is *that* good, the time to turn founder is now isn't it? Why not take advantage of the lead?

the hardest thing about solo dev in 2026 isn't building. it's knowing when to stop building and start annoying people.
