Hot take: The TUI is the wrapper, not the product. Agents will live inside IDEs, not replace them. Cursor already proved that. The terminal aesthetic is just dev culture nostalgia. The underlying agentic loop? Here to stay.

My normie friend who cannot code just one-shotted a mini version of Adobe Premiere with Claude Code that helps him edit videos faster. I don't know how to react to this.

I just built an iOS app... it took FAR longer to get through apple's submission forms than it took to make the app with claude. WILD

Do you use Cursor or Claude Code every day? I'm fully in the Claude camp.

Cursor's valuation history: $400M - August 2024. $2.5B - December 2024. $9.9B - June 2025. $29.3B - November 2025. $50B - now. A wrapper. Built on someone else's AI. Worth more than Ford. The company that makes F-150s. With 169,000 employees. The number stopped meaning anything a long time ago.

Sometimes I feel like AI is built for people with ADHD. Do 10x things at once but still accomplish almost nothing. 😆

weird how everyone's worried ai will replace devs but nobody's talking about how it already replaced the part where you cared what you were building

if I were looking for a job at either OpenAI, Anthropic, XAI, Google DeepMind, or Meta AI, I'd probably choose OpenAI they remind me of early Google culture although you would likely do fine at any of them

A contradiction: Many developers (incl ones I know) are claiming 10-100x productivity gains via LLM. Almost none of them are quitting their jobs to prove it in the free market. If AI is *that* good, the time to turn founder is now isn't it? Why not take advantage of the lead?
