Nederlaag voor Fidesz. Onterecht als je het mij vraagt, maar wel duidelijk. Of je Orbán nu mag of niet, iedereen zal erkennen dat hij als een leeuw heeft gevochten voor de belangen van zijn land.

Het blijft wel een zwarte dag voor het echte Europa. De Europese Unie zal haar grip op soevereine natiestaten verstevigen en nog minder tegenspraak dulden. Het gejuich van Von der Leyen, Macron en Merz klinkt luid. Ik vrees dat de Hongaren vandaag hun soevereiniteit kwijtraken en dat het mooie Boedapest beetje bij beetje op Brussel gaat lijken…
Wat deze verkiezingsuitslag trouwens ook duidelijk maakt, is dat Hongarije altijd een democratie is geweest. Er was altijd vrijheid van meningsuiting, vrijheid van demonstreren en een vrije pers… ondanks de leugens die de afgelopen periode zijn verspreid.
We zetten onze gezamenlijke strijd gewoon voort. Tegen massaimmigratie en woke, maar bovenal voor vrijheid en voor onze Europese identiteit! 💪🏻🇭🇺🦁

Foreign intelligence interference in Hungary’s parliamentary election continues in an unusually aggressive and open manner.
Certain foreign intelligence services, with the involvement of a Hungarian journalist, have wiretapped and are publishing phone conversations, once again today.
The latest “revelation” presents four major “new findings”:
1. Hungary stands firmly for peace and fully supports all peace efforts.
2. We stand up in the strongest possible terms for Hungarians in Transcarpathia, whose rights have been continuously taken away by the Ukrainian state over the past ten years.
3. We are fighting for access to cheap Russian oil and gas, because without them utility costs in Hungary would triple.
4. We consider Brussels’ policy on the war extremely dangerous as it risks dragging Europe into the conflict.

It has long been known that foreign intelligence services, with the active involvement of Hungarian journalists, have been intercepting my phone calls. Today they have made a new “major discovery”: they proved that I say the same publicly as I do on the phone. Nice work!
For four years we have been saying that sanctions are a failure, causing more harm to the EU than to Russia. Hungary will never agree to sanction individuals or companies essential for our energy security, for achieving peace, or those with no reason to be on a sanctions list.
However, the wiretap list is not complete. I have also regularly consulted with foreign ministers from several non-EU countries on sanctions-related matters.

Eind december vorig jaar verschenen er zelfverzekerde verhalen in de Nederlandse media. De 'strategisch belangrijke' stad Koepjansk zou veroverd zijn door de Oekraïners. Poetin zou 'voor schut' staan. Inmiddels is het duidelijk dat de Russen de stad waarschijnlijk nooit verlaten hebben, en nu zitten ze weer overal. Met name in de essentiële hoogbouw. Koepjansk staat zelfs op het punt om weer geheel in handen van de Russen te vallen.
