@CSimmchen Members can be different from contributors. For contributors, there should be a clear definition of role/responsibilities or contribution/rewards (the former is more centralized based, the latter decentralized?).
The bZx enforcement action shows once again that we are still in the early stages of developing the DAO ecosystem and educating regulators.
Why do we only see some DAOs implementing arrangements that attempt to clarify DAO membership and responsibilities?
A good technique to assess if someone is good at understating consumer motivation is their ability to assess if a consumer will pay for a solution or how much would someone pay for that solution.
Value assessment is natural to those who understand motivation.
@paulg For introverts, meeting on Zoom is much more relaxing than in person. You can always mute and turn off video to do a bit of exercise while listening too.
One reason Zoom is more tiring than meeting in person is that you can't tell when people are looking at you. So you have to look cheerful and attentive all the time, just in case.
@paulg It's easier to compare it with a company's leadership structure: is it a solo founder, duo founder or multi founder team? There are pros and cons in each type of leadership structure, and any can be a winner or loser.
Have there been any cases in the last 100 years of dictatorships that people were eager to immigrate to instead of emigrate from? Or are authoritarian governments and immigration inherently incompatible?
@orangebook It depends on the situation, right? For things that are beyond your capacity, including mental and physical health, if you need help, seek help.
Many people waste years waiting for someone to come and save them.
Smart people quickly understand that no one is coming, and start helping themselves.
