🧵 1/6 — The Beginning: How It Started About a month ago, gib’s activity collapsed. Raids died. Posts stopped. The vibes were gone. Together with top holders, I stepped in. A lot of lessons to take from today, but overall people seem to like the change.. now just need the success stories. Some good tokens forming on Bonkers, and obviously the main goal here is to show that it's a lasting feature that has real use for the trenches. $68,000 has been used to buy back tokens so far compound this over 1 month, 2 months that's millions and millions reinjected into charts that rewards holding and belief. Getting a lot of questions about how the buyback works, so pretty much tldr: Fees are claimed every 3 mins. They are then sent to a buyback wallet (for tracking) and then swapped into the coin which the fees are owed to. They are then sent to the bonkfun new multisig address where they'll sit comfy and locked until either a community vote or a big event, e.g. a good exchange comes knocking and we can use the supply to cover the listing fee. The multisig address is: D9FXcMojKz4HLtjWVJX25dK2QDE5mt6sPSSd3FXFoAQC we're going to get it tagged on terminals so people aren't scared by a big holder it's already bought back 5+% of certain tokens, can't ask for a better flywheel than that.
