In this paper, porous walls are included in a CFD model for wave propagation with a semi-empirical model (pressure drop type, which reminds hydraulics). Very interesting and fairly accurate.

Came across this incunable this week while sorting out books in the lab! 1957 ITTC was held in Madrid (not sure if in @ETSIN_oficial or CEHIPAR) and the ITTC 57 friction line was proposed then, used in ITTC 78 procedure to estimate the flat plate friction coefficient. @ingnaval
