@gigafoided @kolyamypearl butch is a specific term for sapphics and lesbians. it can be a gender expression or part of it, for some. some butches are binary women but a lot, especially younger gens consider themselves somewhere on the nonbinary spectrum. i think this has a lot to do with the patriarchy
