For the many kind people wishing me well here, today I did about 20 steps unaided with no zimmer or stick and about 40 steps with a stick - amongst other stuff. The exercise bike screen instructions have switched to being in French. No one knows why.

No10 confirm the PM's RAF Voyager jet is being repainted from military grey to national colours - and at a cost of £900,000. "At every stage, we have undertaken to ensure value for money". What's another million quid between patriotic friends when the deficit is now £300bn eh.
