I spent the Inauguration Day at my “coffee park” in Rwampara. I planted the first trees in Feb 2024 and I am now set to join the money economy. Mpozi how much is that Rolls Royce?😂😂 @CoffeeUganda @NaCORIUganda @ByarugabaRemi @GKatabazi @NuwaNicholas @InspireAfrica_

The Police Canine (K9) Unit has today been re-established in Mitooma District following the loss of its police dog in a recent accident.

Intensified operations have been conducted in Bushenyi, where several drivers were arrested for carrying excess passengers & transporting some in a manner that compromises safe driving. Others were also found seated in vehicle boots & were apprehended for accepting to be carried in such dangerous positions. They will be arraigned in court at the appropriate time. Let us all be mindful of our actions on the road, good decisions save lives, while bad ones cost lives. #RoadSafety

The driver of vehicle number UA 667DN has been intercepted while transporting 35 students aged btn 15 & 21 from Ibanda-Kasese loaded dangerously. The driver has been detained @Mbarara CPS & is awaiting court action. Meanwhile, safer & appropriate transport arrangements are being made for the students. Disturbingly, the vehicle was also carrying jerrycans of petrol, with some students stepping on them while others were positioned on top of the vehicle. This created an extremely hazardous situation that could have resulted in a serious fire incident. Safety #MUST never be compromised. We should not wait for enforcement to act, everyone has a responsibility to make safe decisions & prevent such risks before they occur. We commend the whistleblower who alerted @PoliceUg in time, preventing the driver from using shortcut routes to evade enforcement. As the holiday season begins & more children travel, all motorists are strongly warned to desist from such traffic violations & others related. We remain vigilant on the roads & strict action will be taken against offenders. Ensuring the safety of our children is a shared responsibility. Let’s all play our part.
