So let's sum up. The Parkland gunman: -Was too young to buy beer -Was expelled from school for violence -Got mental health treatment -Got reported to the FBI for boasting he'd shoot up a school on YouTube And as of 02/13/18, owned an assault rifle totally legally.

"If we ban guns they will just find another way." Then let them find another way. Let them try to kill dozens in a matter of minutes with a goddamn butter knife. Let them hurl stones. Let's force mass murders to get creative as hell. Because I'm tired of it being easy for them.

A CHILD's right to go to school without getting SHOT by an AR 15 is MORE IMPORTANT than an ADULT's "right" to own or posess an AR 15. ADULTS are here to PROTECT KIDS. Any ADULT who thinks their "rights" are more important than a KID's rights are, is a SELFISH, STUPID ASSHOLE.

A more empathetic take on the mentally ill? Better school psychologists/counselors/social workers to spot this behavior & try to help?

If it’s “not about guns” & just bc he was “mentally ill” where’s the push for better mental health awareness? Easier access to facilities?

I absolutely LOVE how almost the only time mental illness is discussed in politics is when people use it to further their pro-gun narrative
