Gilmore celebrated Pride Day last week to promote inclusivity and acceptance.
The next day, everyone was encouraged to wear something that makes them feel proud. We had an empowering assembly too.
This week, we are working on an all school art project to be revealed soon! 🏳️🌈
This week, we welcomed our new September Kindergarten families to Gilmore!
Fun was had by all as families went from station to station to learn more about our wonderful school community.
We are looking forward to seeing you back in September! #BurnabySchools

We are grateful to be a part of such a supportive family community. ❤️
What a great night of celebration! Gilmore enjoyed our first in person Student Led Conferences since the pandemic.
Students, thank you for all your hard work.
Thank you to all our teachers for guiding their learning.
Thank you to families who support every day! 🥰
Grateful for our Pro-D today on anti-racism, SOGI & collaborative work on our Math school growth plan! Lots to think about as we move forward in doing work in all these areas.
Truth & Reconciliation at Gilmore:
Many primary & intermediate students wrote their own personal land acknowledgments. Such a powerful way to honour the unceded territories we live, learn, and play.
We are SO blessed to have a special connection with seniors at Seton Villa! They visited and lovingly made bunnies for each one of our 470 Gilmore students!
Thank you for bringing us all joy! #BurnabySchools#HappyEaster

Thank you for organizing this great opportunity for our students!

Here, Div 3 used oil pastel in a guided lesson of the Northern Lights landscape.
Can’t help but stop in the hallway each time to admire beautiful artwork like this! 😍
What were you doing at 5:45am today?
Staff and students were at Gilmore preparing to load buses. They had a ton of fun skiing at Whistler mountain!
Such a great outdoor learning opportunity! Thanks to staff for organizing a memorable field trip experience!
