This phenomenon is compounded by the current low liquidity of Bitcoin on exchanges, and miners offloading their holdings around the $16k mark. This leads to a pivotal insight: the available Bitcoin for public trading is dwindling. As we approach the next season, this scarcity could very well fuel a significant price surge. Reflecting on past trends, the cost to mine a single Bitcoin was around $3k, closely aligning with market dips that forced miners to sell at low points. More recently, this mining cost escalated to between $16k and $26k, as evidenced by data I shared earlier, with market prices plunging to the $15k range to pressure sales. Current estimations place the mining cost at approximately $30k to $38k, with projections for the next year soaring to around $50k to $60k.
