Trump has appointed former GEO Group executive David Venturella to be the acting director of ICE. GEO Group was the number 1 ICE contractor last year. It has over $2 billion in contracts with ICE, and stands to profit massively from ICE locking up more people.

A super PAC funded by $2.5 million from gambling corps FanDuel & DraftKings started running Facebook ads in 5 NYS Assembly races yesterday, including ads supporting Karen Hoak in WNY's 149th. The PAC looks to be run by Parkside Group, which lobbies for gambling corps at $20k/mo.
