Revision tip: check your manuscript for gasp, held breath, twisted guts, glanced, saw, felt, monitor, control, lighting strike, smiled, fringed, glared, sucked in, scrunched, blood stopped, ran cold, anything filtering emotions as bodily responses, especially ones that are largely involuntary in real life
