@Ki3ran_K @sistoney67 There's only been one occasion where Saturday-Tuesday was the issue. We've mainly had the game scheduled for times when storms have hit. Games were called off all over the place. And yes, no one's doubting the impact on Stockton's players. But you can't control the weather

@ginger_michael @sistoney67 Most if not all were called off on the day, when players are already organising half days or days off, losing income. The pitch couldn’t handle a Saturday-Tuesday with bad weather.

@sistoney67 It’s the right decision handled badly. If a team can’t have successive matches on a pitch at this level then they should be punished. One team has needed to travel 6 times for one fixture.

After that it's just been unfortunate that the dates chosen have been so badly affected by the weather. On some days other games were off as well. It's not like we've done this on purpose

Re: FA Standardised Rule 8.7.2 I was asked, so done some background reporting. There isn't a threshold - i.e. game called of X number of times - for it to be applied. Instead, it's a case-by-case basis considering time of season, fixture backlog, severity of problem, etc
