Why isn’t Pierre the Prime Minister of Canada? Mark Carney is a weak leader. Canada deserves a better leader. The U.S. is Canada’s biggest partner. What Pierre is suggesting is not ass kissing. It is common sense. I understand that Canadians are very proud of Canada, rightfully so, but the US is like a big brother to Canada. Canada’s economy, security, and growth are completely intertwined with the ones in the U.S. The trade was not fair to the U.S., and it could have been easily corrected. But instead of finding solutions, Canada started to pull away from its big brother, the U.S. Cozying up to China is not in the best interest of Canada. Canada needs US and U.S. needs Canada. I love both countries, because they are both awesome.

Pierre Poilievre says Mark Carney is WRONG to suggest that Canada should abandon its special friendship with the US in favour of a new world order. He says that the US will always be our largest customer and that we must secure a deal. This is what a true leader sounds like.
