Hearing people's stories today was a reminder of how much work we have to do to tackle violence against women and girls. My Labour government will halve levels of violence against women and girls in a decade and support victims to get the justice the deserve.
I served as a Minister in 3 Govt Depts. I never came across “activist civil servants” w “passive - aggressive tactics” wanting to block Govt policy. Everyone I worked with was a hard working, public servant. #Raab is demonstrating why he was never fit for public office.
30 yrs ago I was at Uni when news came that a young man just like me Stephen Lawrence had been murdered in a racist attack. His family’s fight for justice in the face of racism and corruption inspires me still. There’s still so much work to do to create a society free from racism
Just watching Raab interview and I have never met a single person working in the court services or justice space who had anything good to say about him.
Awful decision. The only person punished is the man who received the racist abuse. 🤔

Raab has effectively thrown every civil servant he’s come into contact with under a bus and shed doubt on their integrity. Despicable to the end the lot of them!
