@ToriatheistTori Because He didn’t “just die” he separated from God for 3 days. He wasn’t worried about a mortal death, He was worried about a divine separation which is why He was sweating blood. The torture was just a method to show how awful the experience was to be.

@ginxin_ @BrianMcGannon That complex was ALWAYS intended to be a car-centric campus. The modern mallpark concept didn't even exist when they built Arrowhead.

I think the worst part about the chiefs moving across the state line is they are shedding a major part of their core identity. There’s no more Raytona Beach, no more 142 decibels, no more of that. The new facility will be a skinsuit of the brand and made for sponsors, not fans. No fault of anyone, it’s literally illegal to build stadiums like Arrowhead anymore. It was a true one of one. Now you are just a flavorless noodle in the communal global slop bowl where the NFL does its business.

@darwintojesus The point isn’t that He died, it’s that for 3 days He was separated from God. He no longer, felt or heard the Holy Spirit. The physical torture was essentially just a way to show us how badly that hurt.

@darwintojesus Hell was not meant to be this “place of torture” with fire and brimstone, originally. All hell is, is separation from God. You chose in your mortal life to not stand with Him, so you’ll spend eternity away from Him. It’s really that simple.
