@dyershand Nietzsche was anti-Christian but not ”atheist” in attitude. He was imho in many ways spiritual-Dionysian and even despised atheism as a modern form of pseudo-theology.

@RHyperboreo You’re confusing the traditional western spirit with the spirit of modernity (western materialism) - the latter being the focus of Guénon’s critique.
English

Traditionalism is the inverted form of leftism.
Both see the West as corrupt. For the left, the West is corrupted in its soul due to "oppression" of other peoples; for the Traditionalist, it is because the West is "decadent."
Both view other peoples as "uncorrupted," "pure," "traditional," and so on. The fact that Traditionalism appeals to metaphysics while the left appeals to materialism only changes the nature of the critique, not its target: the soul of the West.
It is no coincidence that the left feels more comfortable allied with Islam than with Christians. The substance of the thought may change, but the hatred of the Western form of life is the same in Marx and Guénon. It's not a surprise that Guénon chose Egypt and Islam. It was his final judgment on the West.
The fact that Guénon was a genius only makes all of this even more dangerous, because he offers the most solid metaphysical foundations for the enemies of the West. It is time for the right to understand this, or it will remain trapped in theoretical deceptions such as Eurasianism.

@gio_freda @dieworkwear Then what about the other men in the photo?

@dieworkwear The feeling when non-whites dress too white is always the feeling of non-authenticity and uncle Toms.

I'm sure there are many badly dressed politicians and businessmen in Pakistan, Nigeria, and Japan, but you can't imagine the outfits above on a Western European or North American man. Instead, you are more likely to see stuff like this below. Lots of stuff driven by fashion designers, ready-to-wear trends, and a desire to look young and modern.

Interesting to me that when you see men on the global stage, beautiful Western-style tailoring is often worn by men from non-Western countries. Pictured here is Shehbaz Sharif (Pakistan), Akinwumi Adesina (Nigeria), and Naruhito (Japan).

Så länge som gängkriminella har ett större våldskapital än staten, så kan problemet aldrig att lösas av staten. Utvecklingen pekar mot drakoniska straff och/eller privata skyddsmiliser.

@Philosophi_Cat This correlates with “the monetisation of everything”: belief systems such as politics and religion will inevitably fuse in service of this purpose.
English

My prediction for Christianity is that the coming decade will see a hardening of Christianity (in line with an overall cultural hardening the West), but it won’t be spiritual. It will be political.
You will increasingly find people turning to Christianity in order to wield it as a political and cultural cudgel, but who have no interest in the spiritual at all. And this element will come to predominate, stripping away the sacred in favor of the temporal.
Those who turn to Christianity looking for a genuine spiritual home rather than a political tribe will end up disenchanted and most of that cohort will inevitably fall into nihilism, while a minority will continue seeking spiritual nourishment elsewhere.
This will be a death knell for Christianity even as it is celebrated as a “revival”. Wait and see.

@SchattigeDer @Naifalbidh @Philosophi_Cat Any belief system, including religious faith, will degenerate over time and eventually become something else or vanish.
English

@Naifalbidh @Philosophi_Cat I think what is more frightening is the apparently real Christianity which nevertheless works alongside the revolutionary political form. Catholic groups who worked with intelligence agencies and international organisations for example.

Feminists actually respect men more than pick me tradwives' do. Tradwives reduce you to a paycheck and a bodyguard. They want a tool, not a partner. Feminists demand more from you because they know you're capable of more. They want emotional intelligence, shared responsibilities, and an authentic human being, not a 'provider' robot. Stop confusing 'submissiveness' with respect. Feminism is actually the one wanting to share the weight of the world with you.
Let that sink in.

@Lauren_Southern In late phase capitalism, everything is monetised including religion - therefore therefor the ”signalling” i.e. marketing.
