La semplicità vale per tutti perchè gli altri film, pur con una trama semplice, riescono a tirare fuori qualcosa che va oltre l'incollare scene insieme. Mario non ci riesce. @ooserjoo @steam_attack 2/2 Semplicità non significa banalità e proprio perchè il film non è il videogioco avrebbe potuto e dovuto fare di più dal punto di vista della storia (quantomeno nelle gestione), perchè altrimenti basta semplicemente giocare il videogioco o guardarsi un trailer di Smash Bros.

@gioggi0 @steam_attack Quindi la trama semplice di un altro film d'animazione va bene ma in Mario no. Mario è un fottuto adattamento cinematografico di un platform. Cosa deve fare se non riproporre situazioni dal videogioco? È come se mi lamentassi che in Kpop Demon Hunters c'è il kpop e cantano.

@ooserjoo @steam_attack 2/2 I film Disney/Pixar/Dream che citi (e ti consiglio di ripassare) spesso hanno messo in scena una trama semplice ma ricevibile sia dai bambini che dai grandi, i film di Mario non riescono a fare nessuna delle due cose, perchè sono praticamente delle scene prese dai videogiochi

@steam_attack Che non piaccia ci sta. Ma catalogarlo come una merda come è stato fatto dalle recensioni quando ci sono Disney, Pixar o Dreamworks che da 30 anni fanno film con lo stesso template fa ridere. Sinceramente se voglio una "trama" vado a vedere altro, non la pretendo certamente qua.

@ooserjoo @steam_attack 1/2 Ma proprio perchè si parla di un film la trama ed il suo svolgimento sono importanti, altrimenti rimangono un'accozzaglia di scene messe a caso una dopo l'altra giusto per fare l'occhiolino ai fan (come successo con il primo film).

@kabrutusdeid Aside from the fact that many of those images are better in the remake, Miyazaki himself complimented the team for their work, so the discussion ends there. And don't say he did it out of politeness; that would just be your speculation, his statements are real.

The Demon’s Souls remake is one of the most arrogant and disrespectful things ever done by the gaming industry. A group of Western developers thinking they could somehow “improve” Hidetaka Miyazaki’s vision of his own creation is hilariously absurd and, at the same time, a perfect showcase of what’s wrong with the AAA Western industry mentality. It explains a lot. So yeah, I’m very happy that Sony decided to shut down Bluepoint. I always believed that after what they did with Demon’s Souls, they would never be allowed to touch any of Miyazaki’s creations again, and I’m glad I was right all this time. One cannot “remake” art.
