This is the Samadhi Sthal of King Hemchandra Vikramaditya- last major Hindu emperor to rule Delhi before the Mughals consolidated power. He won 22 battles but lost the Second Battle of Panipat on 5 November 1556 to Akbar’s forces (led effectively by Bairam Khan). Hemu was struck by an arrow in the eye, fell unconscious, was captured, and behe@ded This property, more than 10 Acres in revenue records, which formed the Camp of Babur in 1526 during First Battle of Panipat and Camp of Akbar in 1556 during Second Battle of Panipat was with Haryana ASI till 1990. This entire Hemu Samadhi Sthal of 10 acres was transferred by then CM Om Prakash Chautala in 1990 to ‘Wakf Board of Haryana’ whose Chairman, a Muslim MLA from Mewat area of Haryana allowed encroachments charging money from some people and allowed Pucca constructions. This CM was the father of @AbhaySChautala . Gaali do MC ko

While at Kedarnath Dham, I have sent a detailed representation through fax / Email to the Chief Secretary and other concerned authorities opposing the proposed withdrawal of criminal cases under Section 321 Cr.P.C. by the Karnataka Government. The representation strongly objects to the move to withdraw cases involving serious and heinous offences including rioting, assault on police personnel, destruction of public property, unlawful assembly, conspiracy, and attempt to murder, merely on the recommendation of Speaker UT Khadar describing the accused as “innocent Muslims.” In the representation, I have highlighted that Section 321 Cr.P.C. does not permit political or appeasement-driven withdrawal of prosecutions and that the Public Prosecutor is bound to independently apply his mind in accordance with law. I have also relied upon judgments of the Hon’ble Supreme Court and the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka which clearly hold that withdrawal of grave offences affecting public order and rule of law cannot be permitted on extraneous or political considerations. The representation further points out that even the police and prosecution machinery have reportedly opposed such withdrawals considering the gravity of the offences. Any arbitrary implementation of such withdrawal, contrary to settled legal principles, will be challenged before the Hon’ble High Court.

The appeasement politics of the Congress government has crossed all limits. In the name of Kannada activists and farmers, the Siddaramaiah government is now withdrawing serious criminal cases linked to rioting mobs after Speaker UT Khadar sought withdrawal of cases against “innocent Muslim youth.” These mobs were accused of rioting, assaulting police personnel, damaging public property and public vehicles, and other grave offences. Even the DG & IGP and the Prosecution Department opposed withdrawal, stating that such cases should not be dropped. Yet, the Cabinet has gone ahead and withdrawn them. This is nothing but blatant vote-bank appeasement at the cost of rule of law.

Based on the recommendation of Karnataka Assembly Speaker U. T. Khader, the Karnataka Cabinet has withdrawn 8 cases against Muslim mobs involved in riots, after claims were made that “innocent Muslims” had been falsely implicated. The charges in these cases include serious offences under the Karnataka Epidemic Diseases Act, the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, and IPC sections such as 143, 147, 353, 307, 504, 427, 120B and others. These are not minor allegations, but involve rioting, obstruction of public servants, conspiracy, attempt to murder, and destruction of public property. The mob had attacked the vehicles of the Deputy Commissioner and other government officials, yet the State is now attempting to portray the accused as “innocent.” Such politically motivated withdrawal of riot cases strikes at the very foundation of the rule of law. All such withdrawals will be challenged before the High Court. We will not allow the State to misuse its powers to protect rioters and appease vote-bank politics.

U. T. Khader must clarify whether he is serving as the Speaker holding a constitutional office for only Muslim community or for all the people of Karnataka. How can the Home Department be urged to withdraw cases by branding certain accused as “innocent” merely based on religion? Innocence or guilt must be determined by law and evidence, not by religious identity or any other label. The charges against these so-called accused include the Karnataka Epidemic Diseases Act, the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, and serious IPC sections such as 143, 147, 353, 307, 504, 427, 120B, among others. With such grave allegations on record, what compelled the Speaker to write such a letter?

CM Suvendu Adhikari bows down infront of revered monks of Belur Math. Compare this to how ex CM Mamata Banerjee wanted to falsely frame Kartik Maharaj as rapist, tagged Hindu monks as rioters. WB finally has an unapologetic CM who will bow down in front of Hindu Gurus.

The Chuknagar Massacre of 20 May 1971 remains one of the deadliest yet most ignored genocidal attacks on Hindus in the Indian subcontinent. Thousands of Hindu refugees including women and children had gathered at Chuknagar near Khulna, hoping to escape into India from the terror unleashed during the 1971 war. The Pakistani Army, aided by Islamist Razakars, surrounded the area and opened indiscriminate fire with machine guns and semi-automatic rifles. Many were shot dead, many were trampled in the stampede, and others were bayoneted to death. The waters of the River Bhadra turned red with blood. Witnesses described “bodies over bodies” and scenes so horrifying that they could never forget them. One witness recalled seeing a baby girl trying to suckle from her dead mother’s body. Estimated deaths: nearly 10,000 in a single day. Yet the massacre is rarely spoken about, despite being many times larger than the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Let us remember and pray for the innocent Hindus slaughtered simply for their faith.

The Karnataka State Government is once again attempting to reward political cadres and pursue appeasement politics by withdrawing around 52 criminal cases across the State, in clear violation of the rule of law and the observations made by the High Court. Had these cases related to Kannada activists, farmers, or genuine public-interest movements concerning Karnataka, it would have been understandable. Instead, the government is seeking withdrawal of cases involving riots, assaults on police personnel, and other heinous offences. If the State proceeds with such a cabinet decision, we will challenge the same before the High Court and ensure that the rule of law, constitutional governance, and public interest are protected.

ASI officers and staff posted at Hindu heritage and pilgrimage sites should take inspiration from Shri K. K. Muhammed, who earned nationwide respect for understanding and honouring Hindu temple traditions, customs, and devotees’ sentiments. Those who do not respect or believe in the sanctity and customs of Hindu temples should not be posted at such sensitive religious heritage sites. Preserving heritage is not merely about protecting stones and monuments, but also about respecting the faith, traditions, and spiritual sanctity connected to them.

Deities and Donations in Karnataka Temples. The Endowments Department, Karnataka must publish a detailed white paper on Karnataka temples for 2025–26, including total donations collected, and a transparent account of how the funds have been utilized for temple development, preservation, and religious rituals. Devotees have a right to know how temple revenues are being managed and spent. @RLR_BTM
