Dear GISD Families, Due to the forecasted thunderstorms between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m., please note the following updates regarding after-school activities and dismissal procedures: 1. After-school Outdoor Events All outdoor events scheduled during this time frame are canceled. Currently, the only event impacted is middle school football. 2. Indoor Events Indoor events will continue as planned. We will continue to monitor the weather closely and keep you updated if any games or activities are delayed. 3. Normal Dismissal Dismissal times will remain as originally scheduled. There is no change to the dismissal process. Thank you for your continued support. If anything changes, we will keep you informed.

Yesterday, we sent off our LC Patriot Band to compete at UIL 5A State Marching Band Competition! We wish them luck as they take the field today 💙💛
