On 10 and 11 March, we held the first in-person meeting of the SARA FSG 2025–2026 Programme for #RomaEU women in Madrid, providing a forum for training, coordination and exchange among the team of facilitators from different regions. gitanos.org/newsroom/first… #RomaWomen #Equality

We took part in a strategic meeting organized by @UNinBrussels brussels to strengthen #antiracism efforts across Europe. The discussion focused on strengthening cooperation between equality movements and increasing the impact of civil society and aligning actions at EU level.

The upcoming anti-poverty strategy is a key opportunity to finally eliminate slum settlements. EU funding — including ESF+, ERDF, and the Child Guarantee — must be fully mobilised to drive real, lasting change. The tools exist. Now political will is needed.

A 2023 FSG study in Spain confirmed that slum settlements are not accidental — they are the result of structural racism. we need real public policies, sustained investment, and a clear commitment to dismantle these structures.Half of those living in these conditions are under 16.

We participate today at the 2026 EU Anti-Racism Conference in Brussels. It is a pivotal gathering of key stakeholders in the fight against racism, bringing together representatives from EU institutions, Member States, equality bodies, CSOs at EU and national level, and academia.

Interesting exchanges in the #SCFConference on how to target groups beneficiaries of the fund, on the relevance of the local authorities and actors and on the need to include the participation and expertise of the NGOs.

Today in Brussels we attend the Conference Helping #vulnerable people in the clean transition: the role of the #SocialClimateFund. This fund must pay special attention to vulnerable groups such as #RomaEU, overrepresented in #energypoverty.

This evaluation, currently under development by the @EU_JRC, is highly relevant to validate the labour inclusion pathways of target programmes of the #ESF. We hope it will serve to strengthen ESF in the future #MFF , safeguarding social inclusion investments.

Today, in the session ‘From evidence to action: lessons on EU funding towards a more Social Europe’ at the #EUSocialForum the contrafactual evaluation of the #Acceder, FSG’s programme for the employment of #RomaEU, cofinanced by the #ESF+, was presented.

Today we participated in the #EUSocialForum. President @vonderleyen delivered the opening speech and confirmed that social Europe is a priority. We hope that this will be specifically reflected in EU policy and financial instruments through the strengthening of the #ESF+
