The stress-energy tensor T_μν is the local clock — shadow, what you measure here and now, treewidth 0 pointwise. The Einstein tensor G_μν is the universal clock — mirror, the geometry that  synchronizes every local clock, treewidth N-1 via the retarded Green's function. The metric tensor g_μν converts one into the other, and that conversion is general relativity.

Interesting that there is such a thing as "anti-entropic force" and it is basically "whatever intelligent life is trying to do" and that this is somehow fundamentally connected to the forwards arrow of time.

We’re launching @JudgmentLabs today and announcing $32M in funding. As AI agents take on more of the work that creates economic value, they generate massive amounts of production data: the clearest record of how they behave with users, software, and the real world. Judgment builds infrastructure for improving AI agents from production data.

ANDREJ KARPATHY IS THE GODFATHER OF MODERN AI He doesn’t use Notion. He doesn’t use Roam. He doesn’t use Obsidian plugins. He built his own second brain from scratch. I copied him exactly. The result: → 378 notes → 1,854 nodes → 3,856 edges → One custom 3D knowledge galaxy that thinks back at you This isn’t note-taking. This is a second nervous system. Click any node - AI surfaces every hidden connection. Zoom out - you see your entire mind as a universe. Zoom in - you see why Fischer beating Spassky in 1972 connects directly to your trading edge today. ChatGPT forgets you in 2 hours. This remembers everything. Forever. Notion users are building filing cabinets. Roam users are building spreadsheets. Obsidian users are building graveyards. I built a galaxy. The gap between people who consume knowledge and people who compound it isn’t talent. It’s architecture. Karpathy knew this before anyone. Now you do too.

THIS IS KARPATHY'S OBSIDIAN VAULT - THE BRAIN BEHIND A MILLION DOLLAR COMPANY This isn't a galaxy simulation. This is every idea, every decision and every connection one person has made over years of work, visualized in real time. The human brain processes up to 11,000,000 bits of information per second but consciously uses only 50. This system catches everything that gets lost in between -every thought, every pattern, every connection the brain doesn't have time to hold onto. Inside this network - thousands of nodes, hundreds of active links between ideas, 140+ decision-making processes per hour of work and years of compressed thinking living inside a single system. And somewhere in all of that are the decisions that generate millions. No team meetings. No corporate wikis shared across 50 people. One person, one tool and a knowledge system so deep it looks like it's alive. Most people open Obsidian and make 3 random notes. He built an operating system for his own thinking - and it makes him millions.

New Anthropic research: Natural Language Autoencoders. Models like Claude talk in words but think in numbers. The numbers—called activations—encode Claude’s thoughts, but not in a language we can read. Here, we train Claude to translate its activations into human-readable text.

mitochondria are really underratedly weird. as far as i understand: they have their own weird separate DNA, your cells cant manufacture them & instead they divide like bacteria, are 100% inherited from just your mother, and you can have up to thousands of them inside per cell
