Kree8 website will NOT lag now! Just ditched Framer and we'll be coding our future client websites - glad we took another risk of trying something new No-code tools are great… until you care about performance. I was so shocked to see how our website worked on Safari, and I have a MacBook Pro (M4 Max) 💀 Switched to code (Next.js) and suddenly everything feels instant. 👇With Framer With NextJS👇

I disagree. If you really know how to use the tool, it can actually help you scale faster. In the end, everyone has the right to choose what works best for them, since every team has different needs. What I personally don’t like about these kinds of posts is that they often include misleading information, but we can’t control what everyone thinks, can we? You can keep using Framer 🙌🏻

Hey @Framer community 👀 Is this actually true? Just read this breakdown of why DodoPayments migrated away from Framer and some points are kinda concerning: • Heavy JS bundle (~200KB+) affecting performance • Client-side rendering → slower indexing for SEO & AI crawlers • Limited control over structured data (JSON-LD, rich results) • PageSpeed stuck around 60–75 • Hard to scale content (blogs, docs, etc.) • Full vendor lock-in They even said Google crawlers & AI tools might struggle to read content properly 😬 Is this still the case with @Framer today? Curious what you all think 👇 #framer #nocode #webdesign #google @dodopayments

Just launched my first @framer component. Been experimenting with liquid-style WebGL interactions, cursor ripples, refraction, click waves. Link in the comments 🙂

I personally like it and find it useful. If I want to go to the site, I just start with “www”. If I want to open the projects dashboard directly, I start with “framer.” Otherwise, I’d have to go to the site, click the button in the top right, and choose the dashboard - three steps. It feels like a waste of time in today’s world.

Am I the only one annoyed when I go to framer(.)com and it redirects me to my projects when I just want to check the @framer website? 👀

I’m participating in @framer Awards. I had this idea, what if Framer were human, and started building a site during my PTO last year. I didn’t manage to finish it back then. A couple of days ago, I reopened the project and almost completely changed it. While there are still tons of things that could be done, I’m super excited to launch it. Everything you’ll see on this website was built directly in Framer, no videos, no other tools. I also wanted to show my appreciation for the product and the minds that brought it to life. Don’t forget to hit the play button at the end. Hope you enjoy it! Link below.

Yes Gizem, it's the same case and thank you for the solution, I really appreciate it. I was wondering why Framer doesn't currently support scroll transform–based gradual variant switching. Are there any plans to introduce this in the future, or is the opacity approach the best recommended workaround ? I feel a native gradual variant transition would be a great addition.

Hi @Framer, I'm working on a cool scroll-based effect and noticed that "Scroll Variant" switches instantly once the trigger is reached. I'm trying to make the variant transition gradual with scroll instead of triggering all at once. "Scroll Transform" seems close, but it doesn't support variant from/to. Any recommended approach? @Jatodaro @learnframer @benjaminnathan @andreas_hello @edoardomercati @ohitswes

If this is the one we chatted about today, you know the way of doing it 😉 but if you want to keep your structure, and use scroll variant then try opacity. Add one more variant. Switch to the second one on page with scroll variant effect, and conmect that second variant with a third variant with appear interaction and a bit of delay. Then it should fade in.

@laurilllll @framer Yes, that's the limitation I'm running into - variants can't switch gradually based on scroll. Is there any workaround or creative hack to achieve a smooth scroll-driven variant change?

@sekhsoyebali @framer How do you show hide items in component’s variants? If you do opacity 0-1 instead of visibility toggle, it should do the trick I believe. Or adding appear effect to the second variant might make it smoother. Feel free to dm me your remix.

@gizemonan @framer The concept 'If Framer were human' is brilliant. Building this natively without video assets is a huge flex. Good luck with the Awards! 🚀
