Personal post. Ok so obviously most of you know I’m a recovering addict. Well since Dec 28th last year I was clean for months, anyway a few weeks back I relapsed and then tonight I have again. BUT something incredible just happened… I’m sat in my room, having a “smoke” and all of a sudden, a song called A thousand years, by Christina Perry randomly starts playing from my laptop - it’s not signed in, just on home screen. I was listening and it felt like my partner was saying I’m not alone and he’s been there everyday and will wait for me a thousand years. I’ve been on my own 8 long years since he died and never felt anything BUT HOLY SHIT, that was him man. Finally I felt something and if you listen to the words it says “you’re not alone and will love and wait for me forever”. Guys listen to the song, it’s REALLY given me a kick and let me know he appreciates everything I’ve done. If he was alive I know he’d be so proud. My kids are all good looking to the point my Dad jokes he doesn’t know how they’re related to me (the cheek lmao). And yeah I’m flexing my kids, I mean obviously. I don’t know what happened but I can play a video, I started recording my laptop when it just blasted the tune out over and over. My laptop has NEVER randomly turned on like this EVER. You know the last 8 years have always had a massive void that I could never fill. I resented the kids Dad, he LEFT US. But he spoke to me tonight, he really did. The universe is crazy sometimes. Please don’t laugh at my post because I’m being for real. Thanks for reading 💜
