There is so much to talk about. The turnover, the change of direction, the Malenstyn no goal, but I keep watching this replay. Look where the shot is taken. I’m not blaming anyone in particular, but Dobes made some saves in OT. MTL had three OT shots and scored on this.

@BuiltInBuffalo_ 100%. Unless he takes a pay cut. Complete no show for the entire series. He looked disinterested at times and a couple steps too slow at other times. You don’t pay for that. Let someone else do it.

@BraytonJWilson To get as far as they did in the playoffs with really poor goaltending is quite an accomplishment. Got them in the end.

That was one of the most exhilarating seasons of hockey I can remember from the #Sabres for as long as I’ve been watching this team. Can’t take that away from this group. With that said, certainly plenty to improve on over the offseason and build on what went so well this year.

@Matt_Bove JFG. I don’t think so. They were not good the first 10 minutes. Maybe two scoring chances all period. Not over by any means but they have to play much better than that.

Actually didn’t think they played THAT bad. MTL capitalized on their chances and BUF didn’t. Let’s call the two breakaway saves a wash. Aside from that, at 5 on 5 I thought it was fairly close.
