Justifying race laws because "it's the rules and everyone has to comply", is like justifying apartheid because at the time it was the rules and everyone had to comply
Nkosiyethu Dingiswayo🇿🇦@McKay_Dingis024

Elon Musk’s latest tirade against South Africa is a masterclass in billionaire bait-and-switch. He claims Starlink is banned solely because he isn’t Black, a narrative he pushes to his 200-million-plus followers as proof of "viciously racist" laws. In reality, the 30% local equity requirement he decries is a standard part of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) framework that hundreds of other U.S. giants, including Microsoft, have navigated for decades without the "drama". Musk’s "principle" against these rules conveniently ignores that South Africa has already pivoted to accommodate him. As of December 2025, the government introduced Equity Equivalent Investment Programmes (EEIPs), allowing foreign firms like Starlink to skip the equity transfer entirely by investing in local infrastructure and skills. Instead of taking the win, Musk has escalated to hurling expletives at senior diplomats and alleging (without evidence) that he was pressured to "bribe" his way into a license. The irony is thick: while Musk plays the victim of "reverse racism", his refusal to follow local law is the primary hurdle keeping high-speed internet from the very rural South African communities he claims to want to help. It isn't about the color of his skin; it’s about a billionaire who believes his birthplace owes him a waiver for the same rules everyone else follows.

Here’s Candace Owens repeatedly claiming she has “contacts” who live in Erika Kirk’s building feeding her information: “Because we’re everywhere. And we’re watching and we’re listening.” Only an utter psychopath would terrorize a completely innocent widow like this. Absolutely evil.

@mcuban Normal people don't have $2100 per month extra to spend. Many people don't even make $2100 per month.

What if there was a bank account available, that required you to deposit monthly, what you would have paid an insurance company in premiums, for an ACA silver plan. So for a family of 5 about $2100. The amount would then be used for Stop Loss Insurance set at $30k dollars. About $300. Another $200 would be used for local Direct Primary Care for your family The balance would be in YOUR bank account. Like an HSA, It could only be used for approved medical expenses. If you never have any medical expenses, you will get to keep the money plus checking act level interest, when you turn 65 If you have a medical event that is more than what you have saved, your bank will loan you the money you need to pay for it, up to the $30k stop loss trigger You would repay that amount using the monthly $1600 net deposit. Once the loan is paid off, the deposits start to accrue to you again. This is not insurance. It’s a specially designed bank account that gives you control, support, a doctor to work with and catastrophic financial protection. Lots of work and issues to be addressed. But I was curious what people think Let me know !
Mark Cuban@mcuban

The one debt you can’t ever pay off ? Your insurance premiums. You literally will pay an insurance premium monthly, till you die. But we don’t look at it like it’s a debt paid to an insurance company that will do all it possibly can never spend it on your care. We are working on a non -insurance solution. The day HSAs no longer require an insurance policy, it all will change. finance.yahoo.com/sectors/health…

Elon: "There is some chance that HW3 does not achieve the safety level that allows for unsupervised FSD. There is some chance of that. And if that turns out to be the case, we will upgrade those who bought hardware 3 FSD for free. We're going to have to upgrade people's hardware 3 computer for those that have bought Full Self-Driving. And that is the honest answer. And that's going to be painful and difficult, but we'll get it done. What we want to do is we want to get unsupervised done on Hardware 4 first. Once it's done, then we'll go back and look at what we need to do with Hardware 3 cars. Yeah, we've not completely given up on HW3, but we do want to solve autonomy first, and then we'll come back with a way to take care of customers. These customers are very important. They were the early adopters. We will definitely take care of you guys. Once the V14 release series is fully done, we are planning on working on a V14 lite version for Hardware 3, probably expected in Q2 next year"

@elonmusk @tetsuoai When? You've been saying this for years. Kinda like FSD and robotaxi. And Semi. When will it actually happen? In 2 weeks? Next year. You are the King of Vaporware. Been promising FSD "next year" since at least 2017. Wake me when you actually get to orbit.

Starlink V3 launches with Starship will carry 25 to 50 times more bandwidth than a Falcon flight with V2, depending on how you count it. Starship will also launch 100+ times more per year than Falcon (mostly AI sats). Probably ~20k comms satellites per year at ~2 tons/sat. High mass flux to orbit. 💫

Countless numbers of people have died from the COVID vaccines. Many live with vaccine injuries. Women have had miscarriages. Their FDA approval must be revoked and they need to be entirely taken off the market. I had Covid early in March of 2020, was only sick a few days. I never took the vaccine because the vaccine risks was much higher than the actual virus.
Elon Musk@elonmusk

The vaccine dosage was obviously too high and done too many times. I had the original Wuhan virus before there was any vaccine and it was much like any other cold/flu. Bad, but not terrible. But my second vaccine shot almost sent me to the hospital. Felt like I was dying.
