I can’t even begin to describe my level of respect for Kelvin Sampson and what he has built at Houston. I’m not sure he’ll ever win a national title, but nobody deserves it more. Feels like last year was his chance. Nobody coaches and develops young men like him. All time great.

I’ve been on this Illinois team since early January. They’re as elite as it gets offensively. Just so much size and shooting. Underwood has done a great job maximizing their offensive versatility. And tonight they matched Houston’s physicality on the defensive end. Big time win.

@gknapp06 I agree 100% I’m big on having the best hitter especially a guy like Caminero in the two spot. A Yandy, Caminero, Aranda 1-2-3 doesn’t look too bad but rn the lineup construction is definitely interesting.

@Daudi678336 This is easily the best team TJ has had at Iowa State. I love the way they defend on the perimeter, but I’m not sure they can hold up against a Michigan, Arizona, or Purdue in the front court. Tennessee is a tough matchup for the same reason, but I like them to advance there.

@gknapp06 I understand that ISU played two very favorable matchups w/o Jefferson but the guard core especially on the defensive side of the ball is surely good enough to win the title.

NCAA Tournament First Weekend Takeaways ⬇️ I’m not sure Nebraska/Vanderbilt will be topped Iowa knocking off Florida is one of the bigger P4 upsets I’ve seen in March Seeding doesn’t determine what team is a “Cinderella” St Johns and Nebraska were definitely underseeded

Best game of the tournament so far between Nebraska and Vanderbilt. When the bracket came out, this was a matchup I had circled. Tyler Tanner was the best player on the floor all night, but what a win for the Nebraska program. I think Fred Hoiberg has a final four caliber team.
