@Kil889 I'll make 2 arguments: 1. Eminem solidified rap as "pop" music; his whiteness, his style of songs (as initially produced by Dre) and subject matter all gave him crossover appeal at a level no other rapper had. I'm not sure you get Travis Scott or Drake, etc, w/o Em.
