Right. I’m not letting this go. Hubby’s new glasses cost £700. 15 years ago I had laser surgery on the eyes, so that’s about 7 x £500 (conservative estimate) of two yearly eye tests which equals a saving of £3,500 Therefore, I have saved us enough for a diamond.

Why I hate cats...... Its tail knocked my glasses off the table unbeknownst to me, got up walked one pace forwards.... CRUNCH...... thankfully @glasses_direct order placed on the phone for £55 and exact same pair and a spare pair no extra cost. Can't fault them

@glasses_direct ordered varifocal glasses from you 14 Nov. Said to be in the lab on 21 Nov. Yesterday (12 Dec) I chased it up - told both pairs were out of stock. Misleading that I was not told this before. Have cancelled now and gone to @Specsavers but regret the wasted month.

@glasses_direct on the 24th of November I ordered my glasses. It's now 12 days on and you email me to say the frames are out of stock. How can it take 12 days to realise. Or why were the frames not allocated to my order straight away. Unprofessional, i was expecting them soon

@AFCJdfutbol Hi! Regrettably, we can't use out of date prescriptions to make glasses. It is the date and recall of the prescription that keeps the values valid, therefore you must obtain a new copy of the prescription each time you have your eyes tested, even if the values do not change.

So disappointed with @glasses_direct delivery company through glasses over my side gate where they sat in the rain for 3 days. Now all they do is steam up so need to be returned! Not impressed. As all paperwork got reduced to mush is just the label from your website enough?

@glasses_direct hi , I am unable to add thicker lenses than 1.6 to your Polarised lenses and with your Transition Drivewear , am unable to add thicker lenses than 1.59 polycarbonate. Is there a reason for this as 1.67 would be preferable
