@glavey Because the break has allowed him to build up in training etc rather than in the middle of games. If there’s nothing else to play for, giving him minutes can only help him get up to speed

To name a few… Give him a modest budget and he finds gems no doubt, but don’t give him an open cheque book

The concept of losing Peck for £15m hurts, but there has to be some big future fees in there, hopefully acheivable ones too. Brooks and Femi for between £8-£12m each and hopefully get £10m for Gus... spend that well and we'll be in a decent position next season. 👌⚔️🫡

@glavey Peck will be gone, that I'm certain of. £15m up front will be the price to force our hand. He's still only on his kids contract too, so we won't be able to match what folk offer him. The other 2 we might be able to keep at a push. But Gus should have been flogged last summer 100%

@Henni_Papenfuss Not denying that they will need to cut the cloth accordingly, however I don’t see how selling that many then trusting wilder with a sizeable budget would be something that ends up well. I’d much rather sell one tops two of those then trust him in the loan/free transfer market
