Our Women's Justice Team have started a project with The Scottish Deer Centre. Our ladies now have the opportunity to volunteer weekly and hours can be credited towards unpaid work. This is such a positive environment for our ladies to work in and they already love the placement.

We never hear much good news about Social Workers. So thanks to all the SWs who keep children and others safe, who take nightmares home with them every night, who work with the weakest, the poorest, the marginalised. Thank You for what you do every day 24/7

So it happens again… Surely discharging people for missing 2, 3 or even 10 appointments and describing yourself as ‘trauma informed’ are mutually exclusive positions? We make adaptations for physical access difficulties, so why not for relational / psychological access ones?

Our #Communitypayback teams were approached by @Rosemar42776798 & Cardenden Community Development Forum to spruce up a much loved local area. We were delighted to help and also to receive such lovely feedback from the local community about the impact of the improvements 😊.

Who's measuring the side effects of the way we educate? I see them in my clinical work every day. Educational research typically measures the wanted effects, but ignore the results we'd rather not see. Here's what I mean. 1/

Our Women's Justice Team are running a 5 week programme called 'Summer Connections'. Group members will be able to take part in a range of outdoor activities aimed at building confidence whilst having fun. Last week the group visited Lochore Meadows and had a brilliant day. 🛶☀️

Boy I’ve mentored on and off for over 14yrs. Woke up out a coma after a near fatal overdose, thinking, “James can help me?” Now over a year on his recovery journey. Here on holiday with with me and my Dad. “We don’t leave our wounded behind.” 🇬🇷 ❤️‍🩹 #WeHealinRelationships
