However, it would be super productive if more people saw a claim like this and actually gave it the time of day, rather than getting emotional and immediately dismissing it as completely impossible.

He’s missing the part where that’s what WordPress already does for free. When someone asks ChatGPT, Claude, or whatever else for a free CMS, it will point them to WordPress. I’m already seeing that in the AI queries.

Been putting @penpotapp through its paces. I can't believe in 2026, there is no per-side border control. This is supposed to be a tool for design engineers, right? Adding insult to injury, no line tool to make up for this flaw. Design tokens are great, but that's about all that stands out. This is still an amateur tool.
Not yet a serious alternative to Figma. 🤷
