@mundodotenispod At the end of the day, what everyone remembers ? They remember how many slams a player wins. It’s possible sinner closes the gap but let’s talk Alcaraz vs sinner when that happens

@TheTennisLetter To be in the same level as Djokovic ? - what a joke! Djokovic is almost 40 and will never give up and in his case his physical fitness is an issue. And Alcaraz ? They are galaxies away from Zverev -

Zverev says there are two gaps in the level of tennis right now, ‘I think there's a big gap between Sinner & everybody else... & I think there's a big gap between Alcaraz, myself, maybe Novak, & everybody else’ “Do you think there’s a big gap between Sinner and Alcaraz and the rest of the ranking?” Zverev: “Well… I think there's a big gap between Sinner and everybody else right now. It's quite simple. I think there's a big gap between Sinner and everybody else. And I think there's a big gap between Alcaraz, myself, maybe Novak, and everybody else. I think there's two gaps right now. It's difficult to say that there's not a gap between Sinner and everybody else if he hasn't lost a match in how many Masters events? Since Shanghai. He hasn't lost a match in almost 9 months. I think you have to admit that there's a gap between him and everybody else.” (via Madrid Press)

@TheTennisLetter Somehow Zverev thinks that taking cramping Alcaraz to 5 sets makes him at the same level, I’ve always known he wants to put his name on their bucket - couldn’t be further from the truth and probably is the reason why he is behind - he needs to acknowledge the truth

I don't understand why everyone dreads long flights so much. I feel like I change the trajectory of my life every time I take a 20-hour flight across the world. I sit on my computer, listen to podcasts, write, work, introspect, and plan my next season of life (usually fueled by a fair amount of caffeine). By the end of it, I've produced a bunch of content, clarified my vision, and know the exact moves that will get me to the next level. Looking back, long flights often end up being the most transformational days of my year. I look forward to them every time I go traveling for this reason.

Airlines are such a scam. > I'm booking an @AmericanAir flight > I get a ticket that includes seat selection > Go to seat page > Only middle seats are free - window or aisle will cost more on top of the charge paid to pick a seat Can't make this up. Just ridiculous.

Tennis Connected@TennisConnected

Imagine how great Nadal was on clay. Year after year, he would play 4 clay events in a row plus RG and win them all. Alcaraz and Sinner can barely get through 2-3 of these clay events a season. Built different.

@Guidolino8 It’s too bad for Musetti as Fils and Jodar are both in his quarter - not sure if he is back to full form yet, let’s see

@jmgmoron I think Alcaraz should not play Qatar and Miami. Just play Indian wells and then play Monte Carlo, and then Madrid and then Rome and RG.

@jmgmoron Of course ! He needs to give up Barcelona, which is sad for him as he wants to play there or risk injuries - clay is more demanding than hard

@Cool_Ustaz As bad as trump is , this man XI uses values and principles when it suits him. Had nothing to say about Russia invading Ukraine and now is all moral signaling on Iran. Not to mention the whole policy of IP theft as industrial policy. So STFU Xi. We are not fooled

BREAKING: 🇨🇳 President of China, Xi Jinping: “A certain country, obsessed with maintaining its hegemony, has done everything possible to cripple emerging markets and developing nations. Whoever progresses rapidly becomes a target of containment; whoever catches up becomes a threat. But all of this is futile. The world we live in today is a community with a shared future. People do not want a new Cold War; they want a world of lasting peace and universal security."

Unpopular opinion but one of the greatest things about the U.S. is having multiple world class cities: New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Miami, Seattle, Houston… unlike the UK where everything is centralized in London or France with Paris
