@Muse_Sixers @ryanhammer09 Oh brother I’m going Miami Ohio past Virginia as well
English

@ryanhammer09 Preciate the swiftness straight from when the game ended… Still gotta decide but leaning towards Miami due to the vibes.
English

@ryanhammer09 Why aren’t they the ones getting talks over Auburn?
English

@LupusBeowulf Bro come on don’t play dumb like this, you know exactly why the score looks like that…
English

@LupusBeowulf @JerryCa68420844 As a UNC student I HOPE yall get four and we get 5, we’d have a free double bye 😭
English

@JerryCa68420844 Agree on 1 and 2. Think Miami gets 3 and State gets 4.
English

@LupusBeowulf We will beat Pitt, state, Clemson and VT I bet
English

They’ll go 4-3 without Wilson. 5-2 if he comes back soon.

North Carolina’s remaining regular season schedule: Pitt At NC State At Syracuse Louisville Virginia Tech Clemson At Duke Five of those seven games are against teams who are firmly in the NCAA Tournament picture. Tar Heels are currently 19-5.

Old Dominion

Zach Barlev (OT - only 20 snaps last game?)
Botros Alisandro (DB - out for a while)
Nickendre Stiger (DB - only 14 snaps last game?)
Opt outs - Colton Joseph (QB - transfer)
Schedule
USF - USF lost to Miami (12-49), Memphis (31-34, 54% win%), and Navy (38-41, 63% win%) to end their conference title hopes. Their best victories included Boise State (34-7), Florida (18-16), North Texas (63-36), & UTSA (55-23).
ODU - Old Dominion lost to Indiana (27-14), Marshall (48-24), & James Madison (63-27). Their best wins included Virginia Tech (45-26) and Troy (33-0).
Quarterback - Edge USF
USF - Byrum Brown will not play in this game as he explores options for his final season. That leaves the well-traveled former walk-on Gaston Moore. Since coming into school in 2020, Moore has 64 pass attempts in 6 seasons with a 62.5% completion percentage for 5.1 YPA. He has 3 career big time throws & 4 turnover worthy plays. Moore has 34 rushing yards (2.6 YPC) in his career.
ODU - Colton Joseph entered the transfer portal and will not play. Quinn Henicle will start. The redshirt freshman three-star completed 20 of 40 passes for 238 yards (6.0 YPA), 2 TDs, 0 big time throws, 4 turnover worthy plays, & 1 INT. Henicle is mobile with 380 yards (7.0 YPC). he has 8 sacks (30.8% pressure to sack ratio).
Skill Players - Edge USF
USF - 30th receiving & 16th rushing. Byrum Brown (5.8 YPC) led the team in rushing, which will hurt. However, Nykahi Davenport (6.6 YPC), Sam Franklin (6.4 YPC), & Alvon Isaac (4.7 YPC) were solid as a committee. Keshaun Singleton (877 yards) Jeremiah Kroger (529 yards), & Mudia Reuben (495 yards) ended up leading the team in receiving after Chas Nimrod & Christian Neptune got injured.
ODU - 26th receiving & 27th rushing. Colton Joseph (6.4 YPC) also led the team in rushing. This leaves Trequan Jones (7.6 YPC), Devin Roche (5.8 YPC), & Ke’Travion Hargrove (4.2 YPC) to form a decent committee. Tre’ Brown (751 yards), Ja’Cory Thomas (674 yards), & Na’eem Abdul-Rahim Gladding (607 yards) are the three primary pass catchers. This is a quality group, but how much was Joseph himself?
Offensive Line - Edge USF
USF - 13th pass blocking & 53rd run blocking. USF had an elite right side with Connor McLaughlin (RT), Zane Herring (RG), & Cole Best (Center). While a little weaker, Derek Bowman (LT) & Thomas Shrader (LG) were still solid on the left side.
ODU - 28th pass blocking & 115th run blocking. This OL struggled in the run game. Zach Barlev (RT) & Ryan Joyce (Center) were their two best OL, but Barlev only made it through 20 snaps last game. Maarten Woudsma (LG) was also OK, but Skyler Grant (RG) & Stephon Dubose-Bourne (LT) were major liabilities.
Defense - Edge Old Dominion
USF - 67th total defense, 76th run defense, 20th pass rush, 75th coverage. Blake Horvath (9.8 YPA) & Carson Beck (12.4 YPA) blasted this secondary, but they were OK against the rest. Navy also hit 6.4 YPC and were the only to best 3.9 YPC after Miami. Top edge Dennard Flowers missed last game & he is the only difference maker in that group. Fortunately, Traevon Mitchell (DT) & Devin Lee (DT) are solid inside. Still, USF uses too many in their DL rotation, including scrubs like Josh Celiscar. LBs Mac Harris & Jhalyn Shuler are elite. Most of the DBs hover around average. Only James Duclona (CB) comes in above average, but Ben Knox (S) was atrocious replacing Tavin Ward. This secondary can be beat.
ODU - 23rd total defense, 46th run defense, 84th pass rush, 4th coverage. After Alonza Barnett (12.0 YPA) in Week 8, Old Dominion’s pass D stood up against weak QBs. Their run D showed more cracks, allowing 5.9 YPC to JMU. The DL has one true difference maker in Kris Trinidad (Edge) & the rest of the group hovers around average. LBs Jahleel Culbreath & Seth Naotala are above average. The secondary plays a lot of dime and nickel with Brandon Crutchfield & Nickendre Stiger leading a strong/deep group across the board.
Special Teams
USF - 64
ODU - 109
Lean: Old Dominion +3.0
Lean: Under 52.0

@Gerald_L_Hill @barstoolecu The people that go to better schools… that is what it’s about…
English

@glibbleglorp4 @barstoolecu It is absolutely not about getting guys ready for the next level. Thats only true for like 1% of the players. Less than 2% of all college athletes go pro. Its about college.

@BarstoolBDevils Your conference will die if we stop our ACC partnership
English

I love how ND thinks we give one fuck about them leaving the ACC when they already aren’t in the ACC for football.
Nooooo where will I be without Duke vs. ND in Cameron?!?!
