Body mass index (or B.M.I.), which has long been criticized as a misleading health indicator, should no longer be used in isolation, according to a new announcement by the American Merdical Association. nyti.ms/3NKdD5p

Doctors who have made kidney transplants a reality are truly to be cherished and celebrated. Was privileged to be at the unveiling of a book of a person doing phenomenal work in this field and helping the poor with transplants. Salute @RameshKumarDr1 & his Kidney Foundation

@AmericanAir I understand delays. After care is pathetic. Rooms in this motel don’t have working air conditioning and it’s 35 degrees

@glomdoc Delays frustrate us too, and we're sorry. Your comments have been shared internally for review and training.

@AmericanAir extremely disappointed. Booked a business ticket from @DFW to @Delhi. At @JFK, we sat in the plane -#AA29 for 2 hours, deplaned, were given cab vouchers/coupon for a “hotel”. Now at a sleazy motel till tmr morning. Come on @AmericanAir. - an Exec Plat customer!!

Left radiocephalic AVF. When the swing segment eventually goes down, what’s plan B? What options are there? Rest of outflow is intact. @ASDINNews

Patients in this disease state too often face the prospect of limb amputation due to a lack of treatment options. We see a significant opportunity to address that need and advance the intravascular lithotripsy space through minimally invasive technology... businesswire.com/news/home/2023…

@AgarwalRajivMD I use patiromer and continue Finerenone. Strict K restriction is imperative, but sometimes difficult to pull off. Would be judicious in Stage 4 patients and counsel the patients. 3a is the best place to start; with RASI, SGL2, MRA combination

Use finerenone in ckd with t2d if k at most 5 and egfr >25. Don't stop till k 5.5. Expect a fifth reduction in dialysis and more than a fifth reduction in heart failure on top of ace or arb. Key is to start when egfr preserved to mitigate risk of hyperK
