Ola Electric under LT ASM Stage 1: SEBI/Exchange Rule Explained NSE/BSE placed Ola Electric in Long-Term ASM Stage 1 to cool excessive volatility & speculation. This perfectly matches SEBI-mandated surveillance. Key Rules in Stage 1: • 100% Cash Margin required (no leverage/MTF). Existing MTF (e.g., ICICI Direct) needs full top-up or face square-off. Mtf position no option.. Forcefully sell or pay full money .. Already some broker charge 50% margin money’s Now 100% .. Sad part many person and big bulk invester force to sell some quantity or full quantity • Volume Impact: Sharp drop expected (often <₹25 Cr daily) as cash-only rule reduces liquidity.
