Note that I’ve already said nobody truly leaves WoW, and I’m the same.
Although, admittedly, I don’t see much a way back without eventually blundering into Shadowlands 3. Waiting for Classic atp.

@zacthulu Not particularly. WoW1 and WoW2 was a split account between me and a friend. WoW1 is inactive, and WoW2 has been chugging along since WoD

This is starting to be WoW for me.
I've played since Cata. 16 years of my life devoted to a game that the awful lore is starting to spoil for me.
I've played WoW for 12,000 hours. On average 2 hours a day for the last 16 years.
It's heartbreaking to fall out of love with it.
