About a year ago I was very close to giving up on Twitter. Instead I dramatically culled my follower count and it helped. @elonmusk is an utter tool though so I’m done this time. The folks who built an amazing platform don’t deserve this.

Farewell my first brew bucket. It hasn’t been used for anything other than shoveling spent grain for quite some time, I’m surprised it’s lasted this long.

Just last night I was told that "Three Waters came from Canada and it works there because they have so much water, its different here"

@alextbarclay Yes same here. I dislike Musk and perhaps this is the grand plan to reduce the voices of the left leaning population. Perhaps it will spring up something new, maybe Apple?

@Toa5t Cool look forward to trying. The IPA is a bit like drinking post boil wort in terms of hop and flavour without the sweetness. Not as refined as GP and Bach

@The_Bottleneck Problem solved - 2 extra 10 cent coins in between the ball and the tool helped release the safety catch

@The_Bottleneck I’ve got a tool to remove but for some reason this keg spear perhaps has another safety mechanism that I’ve not seen before? Spear is loosened just something is stopping it from coming out

Whats the trick to remove the spear from a Franke or is it totally CIP?

Good to vote in the Wellington council elections tonight. Only used 1-3, at most, but hoping for some diversity and green candidates coming through in the results. #reallygettingthingsdone #enoughofthecareerbozos

@annikakes @Garage_Project Yeah my brew rig is a bit bigger so handy to have some longer term storage for some funkier brews

@glynnfoster @Garage_Project Are you brewing 50L at a time? We can only do 25-30.

Some good bargains on 50L kegs and wine barrels from @Garage_Project on Trademe. A barrel is probably a step too far but another couple of kegs would be handy!

I'm not a royalist in any way, but rather than a public holiday why don't we have a NZ wide community service day.

@Tepania_Steph It is a cammo microplane, though not sure how it ever fit in with the other kitchen aesthetics!

Not the biggest fan of wheat beers but this one is a nice sessionable drop that’s not super cloying
