Had to log in to check something and returning to this site is now is reminiscent of seeing a young child irregularly, in the sense that the people who see the child every day do not notice their growth but those who see them rarely feel like they double in size every time.

I just found a solution for my biggest obstacle for my new desktop app on macOS. The *obstacle* was this accessibility check. And I needed it when registering a hot-key (via pynput). You could ask the permission to the user, but it can easily kill the on-boarding experience. To solve it, we should use pyobjc directly. I found @glyph 's QuickMacHotKey most useful for it:
