@johnmaeda Does it say "for my friend David?" I have an early copy of the NeXT logo manual (before the logo was tilted) that's inscribed the same way. I wonder if it's the same David.

Found this poster that Paul Rand gave to me and signed back in 1996. It is kinda funny as I can see he signed this one for David in black (it is v faint but right there). I wonder who David is? Mr. Rand was 82 then so I imagine black on black wasn’t going to really pop for him …
