There will be a lot of talk in the coming days about the referendum campaigns, but we should not forget that the No campaign lied totally. It lied, everyone associated with it lied, everyone associated with it operated in bad faith. This will be the model for every election.

Let’s not talk about the campaign messaging. Let’s talk about racism in Australia.#Referendum2023 .

Nazis targeted the trans community from the beginning. The hate terfs/GCs spew is not new, but just as dangerous and from exactly the same cloth. Nazis didn't 'gatecrash' the Melbourne rally – they've been there since the start.

Transphobia and Nazis have no place in Melbourne. How we are even debating this in 2023 is indeed the problem.
