Ol' Gertrude is back and she's running smoothly!! Heck yeah, so happy to have my vehicle back!! I don't mind the bus at all, but adding almost 3 hrs to my work day was a big no from me, dawg.

My car is still not ready for pickup!!! But should be in a couple hours. 😭 On the plus side, I got to ride in the double decker bus on my way home!!! Also there's thunder & lightning!!!! First time hearing thunder here!

I wish my family was here to enjoy the beautiful ocean and weather with me. But I especially wish J was here with me. I miss him the most in the warm months, and when I'm at the beach. Still doesn't feel the same without him. 💔

Welp. Ol Gertrude is still in the shop, poor baby. Delay on parts, so she won't be ready until tomorrow. Honestly, I need my vehicle, and getting it repaired is just a part of it. 🤷 And luckily, my job is extremely flexible and I'm able to go in on Saturday in lieu of today.

My car is doing a thing, it badly needs an oil change, so I'm hoping that's the problem and nothing worse. Gonna bring it to an oil change place right now, but I gotta wait for my phone to charge cause it's at 10% and I just wanna go home, crack a beer, and snuggle my dog!! 😭

Happy one year Van-niversary to me!! 😍 Today I went to the beach and saw/heard the gray whale that's been hanging around English Bay spouting, and even saw a lil fin wave, which was pretty damn cool!! Missed getting a photo, but I'll never forget it anyway!
