@ErikaTe16 @Michonnepilled he slept with ghost in between them yes and it’s explicitly stated that he did this under the “suspension” that she wanted more. quote the actual sentence💀. she never touched him in that way and never once heard him deliberately say the word no. show me her using coercion.

@gnbrre @Michonnepilled he put Ghost between them when they slept bc she was trying to be close to him many people realise they were taken advantage of months, even years later. He doesn't think this is rape however, if he wasn't in this position ( having to blend in), he wouldn't have slept with her

@ErikaTe16 @Michonnepilled if she didn’t assault him, how is she a rapist? rape is literally sexual assault🤨

@ErikaTe16 @Michonnepilled and when did she coerce him? he didn’t have to sleep with her. she already lied for him. only way for her to coerce it at that point would be to tell mance she lied and put both of them at risk. show me jon once explicitly telling her no.

@gnbrre @Michonnepilled He liked it in the end but she coerced him in the first place, if he had the power to say no he wouldn't have slept with her.

@ErikaTe16 @Michonnepilled if you don’t want to sleep with someone and purposefully deceive them and have sex with them and act like you wanted it and internally think that you enjoyed it and then proceed to do it over and over again, how is the other person a rapist?

@gnbrre @Michonnepilled Dany also doesn’t think of Drogo as a rapist lol Doesn’t change the fact that he didn’t really wanted to sleep with her in the first place

@KingWhoNevaWas @PasteleSecond @TheDeltango grrm can quite literally say “ no my character didn’t abuse my other character in the past”. unless you have proof of the exact opposite which you don’t💀. the only time she’s ever close to abusive is after bran fell.

@PasteleSecond @TheDeltango GRRM isn't an authority here. He wrote the story but what is objectively considered abuse isn't something he can say "nope its not" to.

@bhangbhangducx @PasteleSecond you mean when she disagreed with robb’s choice of dishonoring his marriage alliance with the freys, told him not to give away theon, and had no part in him killing rickard karstark? all those choices lost robb the war btw.

@DBackslide59610 @PasteleSecond show me where cat excluded jon from his family. jon was literally trained by jon and reminisces how he used to prank his siblings. jon’s literal first lesson he has to learn in agot is how good he had it at winterfell💀. cat also isn’t jon’s stepmother btw.

@PasteleSecond If you’ve ever had a step parent go out of their way to emotionally/physically exclude you from the rest of the family, you’d know that what Catelyn did to Jon for his whole life is not a very nice experience!

@PasteleSecond @TheDeltango She was clearly emotionally abusive there’s so reason to defend that aspect of her character it’s a medieval story and she was a highborn lady they treat people of not the same birth awfully, it’s literally irrelevant what type of abuse it was.

@NM_Jr77 @cerseidefender why are we on robert? i’ll say this for the final time. cersei doesn’t view it as rape. jaime doesn’t view it as rape and is EXPLICITLY against rape. george doesn’t view it as rape. he didn’t write it as rape. you have no argument unless you can provide book evidence.

@gnbrre @cerseidefender If we're using what the characters view a situation as instead of what actually happened then we're going nowhere. Robert is a rapist because he took Cersei without her consent, not because Cersei recognised it as assault.

well… no. jaime completely disregards that cersei is in mourning and also literally on her period during the entire thing not to mention she hits his chest and tries to fight him off while saying no so yes i would say calling him a rapist in the books as well is accurate
emma@yurifan2000

@fenglank in the books it’s more dub con like cersei wanted sex but not on joffrey’s body d&d have a weird rape kink that’s why and that’s why the sansa ramsay stuff happened the way that it did

@NM_Jr77 @cerseidefender four different messages spamming the same EXACT shit that i’ve already stated and that you knowingly didn’t reply to cause you’re trying to force a strawman cs your argument is ass😭.

@gnbrre @cerseidefender No one has denied that they're two different law systems. It's YOU who's applying them selectively to different characters instead of sticking to one. It's either both Jaime and Robert are rapists or neither of them are.

@NM_Jr77 @cerseidefender are you illiterate on purpose? you’re trying too hard to force the straw man💀. that’s literally me addressing that our world and westeros has two different law systems. a fact that you keep trying to throw in my face like i haven’t said it ten times already.

@gnbrre @cerseidefender Your argument is based in Westerosi law and customs. If you can't call Jaime a rapist because what he did wouldn't be considered rape in ASOIAF, then you also can't call Robert a rapist because what he did to Cersei also wouldn't be considered rape. Be consistent

@NM_Jr77 @cerseidefender and how many times do i have to ask you to provide evidence in the books of coercion being rape in westeros? you’ve yet to do so💀. i’ll make this easy for you though. show me ONCE in the the ENTIRE last two books of cersei calling jaime her rapist.

@NM_Jr77 @cerseidefender how many times do i have to say that i was comparing the differences that cersei thinks about robert and cersei? robert is literally stated to assault cersei. jaime isn’t. the literal narrative supports that jaime isn’t a fan of rape multiple times btw. move on.

@NM_Jr77 @cerseidefender and you’re arguing abt the lore of asoiaf. which means if we use what george writes and the way his world works, that means jaime never raped cersei which means what? this entire time, you’ve been talking bullshit and my point stands😭😭

@gnbrre @cerseidefender Concede what? my point is we either define rape by Westerosi standards or by modern standards and apply it equally to all characters. If we apply ASOIAF standards Robert isn't a rapist, and neither is Tyrion or Cersei.

@NM_Jr77 @cerseidefender cersei explicitly states that their relationship began after robert’s death. as we know, tyrion finds out in acok. you’ve yet to provide proof of rape. use the text for your argument. i’m still waiting.

@gnbrre @cerseidefender Ah so a timid 15 year old kid conspired to murder the King all on his own and not because Cersei groomed him into it? Kevan also blames Cersei for corrupting Lancel and says that she should have guided him instead of using him.
